About Likely

Hi.  I’m Lindsay; new mom, wifey, new graduate, new homeowner, new business owner, over her dayjob.  :) Along with my handy-dandy husband, Glenn, we are decorating and renovating our first home in a teeny weeny town in Northern California.

This is a blog cataloging my design finds, following me along with my design business (interior, web, and graphic) that is just getting started, my inspiration finds, my amateur photography, the progress of decorating and renovating our new home, baby stuff, and anything else that catches my fancy! Plus I might throw some funny parenting stories in. I hope you enjoy what I have to say and thank you for stopping by!!

Why “Likely Design?” Well, I am a designer living in the rural community of Likely, California. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design, and am starting a home-based business of interior, web, and graphic design, along with event styling and photography, all away from ANY kind of shopping conveniences and resources. Basically, I spend the majority of my “design time” on the internet! Most practicing interior designers live in large cities and I’m going to prove that good design is for everyone, even if you can’t “Do It Yourself” or think that you can’t afford an interior designer (which you can!). Enjoy!
